I truly, honestly believe Hop Butcher for the World makes the best milkshake IPAs.

I obviously haven’t had them all, especially local breweries not in the Midwest. But since I first had Ribbit I’ve been a devoted Milkshake IPA drinker and no other brewery even comes close to the creaminess that exudes from their milkshake IPAs. Most other entrants feel like they are usually just a typical IPA with an abundance of lactose. Hop Butcher does something completely different. I don’t know what that is. But they are different. They are better. They are delectable.

Honestly, I don’t even think Hop Butchers milkshake IPAs should be in the same category as other breweries milkshake IPAs.

Maybe I’ll come across another brewery that does mlkshales in a similar way one day. Hopefully those are more accessible. HB maybe does one a month and are usually extremely limited so I’m only ever getting a four-pack with each release.
